How paid content is labelled
- Every sponsored placement carries a visible “Sponsored” label.
- Every link in sponsored content uses
rel="sponsored", the attribute Google asks publishers to use for paid links. - Sponsored content is visually separate from editorial content and is never written to look like our reporting.
- A Featured directory placement, once offered, will be labelled “Featured”.
What sponsors never get
- Influence over editorial coverage, or the chance to review articles before or after publication
- A position in any ranking, comparison or list
- Links in editorial content, or any link without
rel="sponsored" - Changes to license data, license status or the editorial order of the directory
- Guaranteed traffic, search rankings, backlinks or citations in AI tools
These rules are part of our editorial standards, and every revenue line is listed on how we make money. We may decline any sponsorship.
