Information, not advice
Articles, cost estimates, licensing summaries and data pages are general information. They are not legal, tax, financial, safety or professional advice, and they don’t create any professional relationship.
Rules on licensing, employment, pay and pesticide use change and vary by state and city. Confirm the current rule with the agency linked on the page before you act.
Estimates and data
Cost figures are estimates built from cited inputs, as explained in our methodology. They are not quotes or offers. Data pages report what agencies published, as of the data dates shown. We work to keep pages accurate and correct errors under our corrections policy, but we don’t guarantee that every figure is complete, current or right for your situation.
License directory
Directory listings are copied from public state license records. “License active” means the agency’s record showed active status on the retrieval date shown; a license can lapse after that date. We don’t verify insurance, bonding, complaint history or quality of work. A listing is not an endorsement or recommendation. Check the license with the agency before you hire.
Any future Featured placement will be labelled. It won’t change a business’s license data or the editorial order of listings.
Job board: employers
If you post a job, you agree that:
- The job is real, open, and offered by you or a business you are authorized to represent.
- The listing is accurate, including pay where given, and complies with the employment, anti-discrimination and pay transparency laws that apply to you.
- You won’t charge applicants fees or use the listing to collect personal information for any purpose other than hiring for that job.
- You give us permission to publish, format and display the job details you submit for the life of the listing.
Listings run for 30 days. Your first post is free. If paid posting tiers are introduced, their prices and terms will be shown before you are charged. We may edit a listing for formatting, or refuse or remove any listing, including one we believe is misleading, unlawful or not a real job.
Job board: job seekers
Employers write their own listings. We don’t screen employers, verify pay or job details, or take part in hiring. Check the details directly with the employer, and never pay a fee to apply for a job. Report a suspicious listing to editorial@greenindustryreport.com.
Sponsored content

Using our content
Our text, tables, charts and compilations are protected by copyright. The underlying government data is public, and you are free to go to the agency and use it. You may quote short passages and cite our figures if you credit The Green Industry Report and link to the page you used. Republishing whole articles or tables, or copying the directory in bulk, needs our written permission.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the site to break the law, send spam, submit false information, or interfere with the site’s operation, including automated access that overloads it or gets around access limits.
Links to other sites
We link to agencies, statutes, vendors and other sources. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.
No warranty and limits on liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, its estimates or data, the directory, job listings, or sites we link to. Some states don’t allow certain limits on liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
Privacy

Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we change this page and its Updated date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
